The whole event kicked off with a speech by 2 personnels from the police department on recent scam cases.
It was then followed by Dr Teo's speech...
(Blogmaster's note: Most people will fall for the telephone scam due to curiosity and partly greed. Normally, the scammers will make it sound very true, they even have 'accountants' to verify their case. I personally got a call from them which they claimed they were from "Jie Tai Electronic Company" based at HongKong. They told me that I won a lucky draw. Luckily I did not fall for it. So on behalf of our RC, I would like to urge every resident to be vigilant, and dun succumb to your own curiosity and greed that easily. If unsure, you can always check with our friendly police officers or your nearby grassroot leaders.)
